Once the warranty is over, the choice is yours, and a local technician can usually offer a visit at a time that suits you and one written price.

No. ALAS is independent and has no affiliation with Frigidaire or Electrolux. We repair Frigidaire appliances out of warranty, or whenever owners prefer a local technician, and stand behind the work with our own written warranty.

Frigidaire is part of the Electrolux Group. General Motors owned it from 1919 to 1979, White Consolidated Industries bought it in 1979, and Electrolux acquired White Consolidated in 1986 (Electrolux Group (opens in a new tab)).

They are three Frigidaire product lines, from the standard Frigidaire line up through Frigidaire Gallery to Frigidaire Professional at the top. The model name on your appliance or its label tells you which you have, and we repair all three.

In June 2022 about 367,500 Frigidaire and Electrolux refrigerators sold from April 2020 to March 2022 were recalled because the ice maker’s detector arm can break into the ice bucket. Check your serial number at icemakerrecall.com (opens in a new tab).

Frigidaire lists 1 year on most major appliances and 2 years on single-door refrigerators and freezers, with longer coverage on certain parts such as dishwasher tubs and laundry center motors. Eligible Professional models bought on Frigidaire.com get a second year (Frigidaire warranty (opens in a new tab)).
