(469) 638-3215“Frigidaire dishwasher not draining” is one of the most searched Frigidaire problems, and i20 is the code that goes with it. Here is Frigidaire’s checklist.
Frigidaire says i20 indicates the dishwasher is not draining properly; its code guide calls it “unit did not drain completely”. Frigidaire’s checks: on a new install tied to a garbage disposer, the disposer knockout plug must be removed; the drain hose can’t be blocked, pinched or restricted; the hose must reach at least 32 inches above the floor; and the glass trap and filter must be clear of food soil. To reset, hold Cancel, switch off the breaker, or unplug the dishwasher for 3 minutes. Source: Frigidaire i20 (opens in a new tab).

Frigidaire lists three ways: press and hold Cancel, switch off the breaker, or unplug the dishwasher for 3 minutes.
They are related. i40 means a clogged filter or sump, which can cause poor draining. See our i40 guide.
