Rentals, Houses and Apartments in the TCU Area
Texas Christian University’s 325-acre campus lies about four miles from downtown and fronts University Drive near Berry Street and Stadium Drive. The Berry/University urban village grew up at the corner of West Berry and University, and Bluebonnet Circle sits just to the south, surrounded by the Bluebonnet Place and Bluebonnet Hills neighborhoods.
If you own or manage a rental here, tell us who will open the door for the technician and who should receive the estimate. The person paying for the repair approves it before any work is done, and the diagnosis is explained in plain terms so you can decide whether to repair or replace.
We fix washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers and garbage disposals in houses and apartments around campus. Standard repairs carry a 90-day warranty, extended to six months for members, and 12 months on sealed-system work.

How TCU Came to Fort Worth
After the university’s main building in Waco burned in 1910, Fort Worth citizens offered $200,000 and a 50-acre site to bring it here. The Fort Worth campus opened for classes on September 16, 1911.
Amon G. Carter Stadium dates to 1930 and was rebuilt in 2012. Schollmaier Arena is also on campus.
Bluebonnet Circle
Blue Bonnet Circle Park fills the city’s first traffic circle, a 1.25-acre green dedicated in 1949 and designed by Hare & Hare. A time capsule placed there in 1976 is due to be opened in 2076.
According to the City of Fort Worth’s Bluebonnet Circle urban village page (opens in a new tab), the circle from about 1929 is the only lasting result of the traffic-circle focus in the 1927 Bartholomew & Associates street plan, and the surrounding area was not developed until after 1950.
Berry Street
The Berry/University urban village, in Council District 9, includes the GrandMarc at Westberry mixed-use development and the TCU Barnes & Noble bookstore.
In July 2024, TCU and Endeavor filed plans for a 5.2-acre mixed-use project on West Berry Street with six- to seven-story apartments and retail.

Questions From TCU-Area Residents and Landlords
Yes. When you book, tell us who will be at the property to let the technician in and who should approve the written estimate. That way the tenant is not asked to approve charges they will not be paying, and the owner sees the diagnosis before any work starts.
The campus address on South University Drive is in 76129, and Blue Bonnet Circle Park is in 76109. We serve homes and apartments in both ZIP codes. Share the street address and the nearest cross street when you schedule.
Yes. We repair top-load and front-load washers, gas and electric dryers, and stacked laundry pairs. Before the visit, note the brand and model number and whether the problem is no spin, no heat, a leak or an error code.
We tell you plainly. The written estimate shows what the repair involves, and if the cost or the availability of parts makes replacement the better choice, we say so before you spend anything on the repair.
