(469) 638-3215E11 shows up when a Bosch oven or microwave can’t read its touch keys. Steam from the cooktop or a wiped-down panel is often enough to set it off.
Bosch’s US code list, under ovens and microwaves, says E11 means the touch keys are not operating properly and that this may be due to condensation on the keypad. Its fix has two parts: clean the control panel with a dry cloth, then switch the power off at the fuse box or breaker for about 10 seconds and back on. For other codes that appear as an E and a number, Bosch advises noting the code, switching off power and contacting support. Source: Bosch error codes (opens in a new tab).

Typical signs.
Bosch’s cause first.
Make sure the oven is off and cool before wiping the panel.
Wipe the control panel with a dry cloth, getting any moisture off the keys and edges.
Switch the oven off at the breaker or fuse box for about 10 seconds, as Bosch directs.
Restore power, set the clock if asked, and try each key. If E11 comes back, book service.

We test Bosch touch controls, ribbon connections and boards on wall ovens, ranges and microwaves, rule out moisture first, then quote the repair in writing before ordering parts.

Bosch says the touch keys are not operating properly, possibly because of condensation on the keypad.
Bosch lists E11 under ovens and microwaves together, with the same fix: a dry cloth on the panel and a short power reset. That includes speed ovens and microwave drawers with touch controls.
Bosch says about 10 seconds at the fuse box or breaker. On a range or double wall oven, make sure you switch off the breaker that feeds that appliance, then reset the clock when power returns.
Bosch points to condensation on the keypad. Steam rising from pots below a wall oven or microwave is a common source.
