Whirlpool says F9-1 and F9-2 mean a problem with the oven door latch, the door lock switch or the associated wiring. The latch locks the door during a clean cycle, and the control won’t run some functions if it can’t confirm the latch position. Source: Whirlpool F9-1 support page (opens in a new tab).

You may notice one or more of these along with the code.
Whirlpool names these areas. A technician tests each one.
Try these steps in order. Never force a locked oven door, especially right after a clean cycle, when the oven is extremely hot.
If the code appeared during or after a clean cycle, wait until the oven is fully cool. The latch won’t release while the oven is hot.
Switch off the breaker for 1 minute, turn it back on and watch the range for 1 minute. The latch may cycle and unlock.
Make sure nothing is caught in the door and it closes flush. Don’t pry the latch open.

Whirlpool says F9-1 means a problem with the oven door latch, the door lock switch or the wiring. F9-2 is described the same way. Reset the breaker for 1 minute; if the code returns, book a repair.
Let the oven cool completely, then reset the breaker for 1 minute. The latch often cycles and releases. If the door stays locked, don’t force it: the latch or switch needs repair.
The door latch works hardest during a high-heat clean cycle, and the heat can stress the latch, switch and wiring. That is why lock codes often show up after cleaning.
We couldn’t find F9E0 on Whirlpool’s range support pages, which document F9-1, F9-2 and F9-3 for the door latch. Check your Use & Care Guide for your model’s codes.
